Fragoso Ranch is a 610 acre recreational property nestled into the old growth Ponderosa pines with incredible views of the majestic peaks of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Varied topography of giant spruce, scrub oaks, and mountain meadows offer tremendous hunting and recreational opportunities. The property has a natural spring which produces water year-round and in the Spring and Summer months a seasonal stream flows from the spring down a tremendous canyon drainage. There is a strong well on the property which supplies water to a large stock tank and offers the potential for further water development, allowing future owners to run year round water to tanks or drinkers throughout the property.
Located in game management unit 46, a New Mexico Special Management Unit, the ranch qualifies for landowner elk tags. The ranch is eligible for the EPLUS landowner program and gives you the opportunity to hunt any 5 days from September 1st until the end of December.
The land is rich in history and there are several Native American artifacts still present on the property.
Located in the mountains above Las Vegas, NM, the ranch has great year-round access and sits in close proximity to Angel Fire, Taos, Santa Fe and Albuquerque.
